Helical Staircase Art Institute #1

This photograph captures a striking detail of the helical staircase inside the Modern Wing of the Art Institute of Chicago. Designed by the renowned architect Renzo Piano, the staircase embodies his “zero gravity” principle, giving it a light, almost floating appearance.
