Private Tours and photo walks, what’s the difference?
Private tours are a great way to see a location whether you’re in town on business, on a family trip or just passing through to another destination. Why not make use of the extra time you might have by letting me join you on a photography tour? I can help you see more options for images than if you were out on your own.
Photo walks can be anywhere, just you and I focused on finding what we can to photograph. It could be your local town, a park, a forest preserve or your own backyard.
Who?
Me & You or a small group of friends.
What are private tours?
A private tour, wander around the city of Chicago or a location of your choice. This will include me helping you find the best compositions, the most unique areas and subjects to photograph and helping you start seeing these things yourself.
Where?
Chicago and surrounding areas within a 2-hour drive. I’m also open to coming to you, wherever you are.
When?
Contact me, and let’s see if the dates you’re traveling are open on my calendar.
Why private tours?
- Because you want to wander with your camera and not think about where to go, where you’re going or how to navigate where you are.
- Because you only have a limited amount of free time to explore and don’t want to waste it trying to decide where to go.
- You have specific sites or places you want to photograph but you’d like a tuned-in eye to help you create better images of that place.
- You want someone to help you see the familiar or popular locations in a different way.
Need more reasons to go on a private tour?
With a longer lens, I might have tried to capture the lines and reflections in these buildings differently, but this is already a shot I would never have taken prior to my walk with Lauri. It’s hard to describe the joy I feel the rest of my stay in Chicago. I have been to this section of Chicago more times than I can count, but I was experiencing it with new eyes. That is a gift I can never repay.
