Thank you! Yes, you. And you. And anyone who continues to read these posts I make.
At the beginning of the year, I made a commitment to write one post here a week. (Also, one per week on my SeeWithLauri.com site.) That means I wrote and posted 103 blog posts between these two sites. I’m actually quite proud of that fact. Yes, I missed one. It was a holiday and I spent the day in bed or on the couch with some sort of bug. So, I didn’t beat myself up too much about it.
As I sit here and type this I’m feeling like I’m not very sure of what’s next. Then I stop myself and remember a project I’m working on. It is my intention to follow through, after a year or more of sitting on it. You may see some of what I hope are the rewards of my efforts in this space at some point. Let’s hope so.
Currently, I have submissions to exhibit at another local-ish gallery and have entered another gallery/contest from New York. I will hear more next month.
Hopefully, there will also be photo tours that will happen in 2022. There are currently two scheduled for Chicago and one in the fall for a European location is tentatively in the works.
I would also like to thank those of you who purchased prints this past year. Whether it was through this site directly, my inventory of prints on Etsy or from Springboard Arts Gallery, I truly appreciate you supporting my work and loving it enough to hang on your walls.
Best wishes for the remaining days of 2021
and all the best for the new year to come!
Thank you once again for your encouragement and support.
